We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired, the infallible word of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2 Timthy 3: 16). The Bible is the only authority given by God to man, which is why the teaching, the faith, the hope, and the life of the church must be in harmony with it. The Bible is for all people to read and study, and it can only be truly understood by those who are anointed with the Holy Spirit (1 John 2:27). "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake [as they were] moved by the Holy Ghost." (2 Peter 1: 20-21).
The One True God
We believe in the One Eternal God who is infinite in power, Holy in His nature, in His attributes and in His purposes, Who is the absolute and indivisible deity. This One True God appeared in the Old Testament many times in various ways and the last days "in the Son" (Hebrew 1: 2). Today he is among us as the Holy Spirit (John 14: 15-31). The Bible does not apologize about God but reveals Him as the absolute and supreme authority (Romans 1:19, 21,28,32, 2: 16). God is invisible, without body and limbs, and therefore free from all restraint. It is Spirit (John 4: 24) and "... for a spirit hath not flesh and bones ..." (Luke 24:39). "...The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:'" (Mark 12:29 & Deuteronomy 6:4). , One God and Father of all, who [is] above all, and through all, and in you all. "(Ephesians 4: 6).
The Son of God.
The one true God, Yahweh of the Old Testament, dwelt fully in the man Christ Jesus who was born of the virgin Mary in the fullness of the times (Gal. 4: 4). As the apostle Paul says, "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (1 Timothy 3:16). ). "He came unto his own, and his own received him not." (John 1:11). God appeared in the flesh to His Son Jesus Christ, who begot (Mathew 1:18-25, Hebrew 1:5, Luke 2:11)."... To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them;..." (2 Corinthians 5:19).
We believe that "... in him dwelleth all the fullness of the deity bodily" (Colossians 1:19). Jesus was both a perfect man and a perfect God. As a man he was the Lamb of God, the sacrifice, the one who suffered, died, was resurrected, and was taken up for our salvation. He is the only mediator between God and men (1 Timothy 2: 5). As for His divinity, our Lord is God the Father Himself (John 20:28, 14:10). Who is over all, God blessed for ever. (Romans 9: 5). This is the true God and eternal life (1 John 5: 20). This is the I AM (Revelation: 1:8, 11 John: 8:58, Exodus: 3:14). "For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him." (1 Corinthians 15:27). "And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. " (1 Corinthians 15:28). "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1: 8).
Name
God used many titles in the Old Testament. Before the Law, "El", "Elohim" or "Adonai" along with some other synthetic (El Sadai, El Gibor), and after giving the Law, the name of the covenant with man, "Yahweh", along with some synthetic again, depending on what His people wanted Him to be (Yahweh Salom, Yahweh Ire, Yahweh Rafa, etc). "...a child is born, unto us a son is given: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.... (Hebrew Text)" (Isaiah 9:6). This prophecy of Isaiah was fulfilled when the angel of the Lord said to Joseph, "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21). "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).
The Creation of Man and His Fall.
In the beginning, God created man innocent, pure, and holy. But because of the sin of disobedience, Adam and Eve, the first humans, fell from their holy state and God drove them out of Eden. "... wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world..." (Genesis 27, Romans 3:23 & 5: 12).
Repentance and baptism in water.
Forgiveness and remission of sins are obtained at the moment of baptism in water, in the name of Jesus Christ, having been preceded by genuine repentance, confession, and forsaking of sins. We are justified by faith through the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1). John the Baptist preached the baptism of repentance, Jesus was also basic teaching in the ministry of the apostles (Acts 2: 38, 11: 18, 17: 30). The word "repentance" means The next thought / The change (change) of opinion, penitence. Jesus said, "...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3). "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem." (Luke 24:47). The biblical way of baptism is by immersion in the name of Jesus, according to the book of Acts 2:38, 8: 16, 10:48, 19:5.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit.
John the Baptist said in Matthew 3:11: "... he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire". Jesus said in Acts 1:5: "But you want to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, not after many days." Luke tells us in Acts 2:4 "... And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." The terms "baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire", "they were filled by the Holy Spirit" and "the gift of the Holy Spirit" are synonymous terms used interchangeably in the Bible. According to the Bible, all those who receive this gift or are filled or baptized with the Holy Spirit have in common the starting point of speaking in tongues. Our Lord through the prophet Joel said: "... I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh ..." (β: 28). Explaining this miraculous experience, Peter said: "...having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, (Jesus) he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear...For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. ”(Acts 2: 33 & 39).
Fundamental teaching.
Our basic, fundamental teaching is complete salvation according to the biblical model: Repentance, baptism in water by immersion, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, baptism of the Holy Spirit with the starting point of speaking in tongues, such as gives the Holy Spirit and the fulfillment of holiness in the fear of God. We will try to keep the unity of the spirit until we all come to the unity of the faith (Ephesians δ: 3,13).
